About

My husband and I currently live in Birmingham, AL with our Rough Collie Sundance (aspiring therapy dog πŸ˜€ ).

I’m a graduate of Florida State University 11′ and a current a student at the University of Alabama Birmingham. I am also a born and raised Air Force brat, and was fortunate enough to grow up all over the world. I graduated from Ramstein High School in Germany, and moved back to the states to attend Florida State University. A pretty good choice considering that’s where I met my best friend and now husband! He is an amazing nurse and is currently attending Vanderbilt University working on his DNP degree with an AF scholarship. Its crazy to think that after six years of civilian life I’m about to be back in the military world.

At FSU I majored in exercise science and was accepted into UAB’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program. I fell in love with PT in high school after observing therapy as a volunteer with the Wounded Warrior Project overseas. I have had such an amazing experience in school so far, and I am so excited to be a part of this profession. I’ve just finished my final academic semester before heading off for my final year of long-term clinicals. I can’t believe how quickly two years have flown by, only four semesters till graduation!
