One of the wonderful things about visiting family is the food. This weekend was no different. In honor of B’s upcoming 25th birthday we had a Lowcountry Boil! Fresh shrimp, potatoes, onions, and corn on the cob. Traditional lowcountry cuisine originated in South Carolina, and would have also included sausage, but ours was delicious without it.
One of the many perks of coastal living is fresh seafood. Being Florida kids we’re spoiled absolutely rotten when it comes to seafood.
